 Mount Wismer offers a moderately challenging 2-mile loop trail that rewards hikers with panoramic views of Barrett Township and the Delaware Water Gap. The trail meanders through open fields and hardwood forests, making it a favorite for nature enthusiasts and photographers alike.  

 Nestled in Cresco, Ice Lake features a serene 1.1-mile loop trail that's perfect for a leisurely walk. Originally created for ice harvesting in the late 19th century, the area now serves as a peaceful nature preserve managed by Paradise and Barrett Townships. 

 A hidden gem within State Game Lands 221, Rattlesnake Falls is reached via a 2-mile out-and-back trail near Cresco. The moderately challenging hike includes a stream crossing and leads to a secluded multi-tiered waterfall, offering a tranquil retreat for adventurous hikers. 

 Situated in Paradise Township, Skywood Park encompasses nearly 90 acres of natural beauty. Visitors can enjoy scenic views, a sledding hill, exercise stations along the trail, and an ice-skating rink during winter months. The park also holds historical significance, being the former site of the Pocono Mountain Inn. 

 A 777-acre preserve spanning Paradise and Price Townships, this trail network offers everything from easy forest walks to steep climbs and a 5-mile loop. Highlights include a scenic waterfall on Brodhead Creek, glacial boulders, and diverse wildlife. Popular for hiking and catch-and-release fishing. No restrooms; wear orange during hunting season. 

 This 64-acre preserve in Canadensis features a 1-mile blue-blazed loop trail through diverse habitats, including hardwood forests, glacial boulders, and historic farm remnants. Highlights include the "Kissing Tree," a unique pine-oak fusion, and a spring-fed creek. The trail offers moderate difficulty with some wet areas; sturdy footwear is recommended. Fishing is permitted in Brodhead Creek with a valid PA license.
